| Robert Percy who went to Maryland, American Colony Posted by Patrick P. on Feb 23, 2010 05:31 AM After exploring your site I thought I'd post the following information on a Robert Percy, gentleman of the Catholic colony of Maryland, America who is possibly the same man as Robert Percy, son of Thomas Percy, the plotter. Perhaps it will help. The Marshall was 'Robert Percy, gentleman ;' there are strong grounds for believing that he was the eldest son of Thomas Percy, a chief conspirator of the Gunpowder Plot. Posted by Patricia W. on Jun 21, 2011 01:14 PM Hello. I've been working to untangle my Percies for quite a few years now. My family is from Maryland and, so far, I have three Percy lines, accurate or un... My great-grandmother was Ophelia Roberta Perry. Separately, my dad is from a long line of John Perry Hiltons. And the 3rd Percy is from one of the JPH's wives lines up to Cpt. Wm Pierce. It is the John Pearce/Pierce/Percy that is giving me the most trouble, possibly the same one you discuss. Intriguing stuff! Hello Patricia, interesting stuff. I hope someone out there can help fill in the gaps for you. B |
