Garter and my correspondence
Our 2 year stay at the London College of Arms under the direction of the Garter Principal King of Arms Mr. Peter Gwynn-Jones to fulfill our proticol and transparency obligations.
After an initial approach to the Garter Principal King of Arms and at his request I submitted our family trees, evidences and genealogists records which after consideration he agreed to act on our behalf. In effect he became the 3rd Garter Principal King of Arms in over 300 years to have influence over our family claims.
The following living dossier on our 2 year stay explains our progress, and lack of, during this period and that I have no reason to believe that Garter is anything other than, like us, a victim of the heralds/genealogists injuries and illnesses.
We went to the London College of Arms, fully informed on our Cadet Percy Beverley line and the College of Arms 17th Century "past history", to fulfil our protocol and transparency obligations and what we have ended up with is a living dossier that we cannot fairly judge because we are much too close to the situation.
We now submit this dossier to historians, genealogists, interested parties and the general public for your consideration and advice.
